About Me
Hello, I’m James Gingell.
I've spent more than half my life working in digital, and I wouldn't have it any other way. As the saying goes, "If you do a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life." I've been fortunate enough to live that truth.
Over the past 24 years in NHS IT, I've experienced organisational change, restructures, TUPE transfers, and redundancy. Every one of the 12 roles I've held has taught me something valuable. Along the way, I've learned from exceptional leaders and had the privilege of leading talented, committed teams.
For me, IT has never been just about technology. It's about how infrastructure, systems, and managed services enable meaningful change, improve efficiency, and deliver value where purpose matters most.
Ensuring the availability of critical IT systems that support patient care has been both a responsibility and a privilege that I remain passionate about.
